I won’t lie, one of my favorite things about Italy is the quality of the goods there. And when I went to Positano for the second time a few weekends ago, I made no mistake and went shopping for some quality handmade Italian goods.
I bought gorgeous handmade black leather gladiator sandals from a tiny little shoe shop. I tried on so many beautiful pairs of handmade shoes with buttery soft leather. I fell in love and took home my gladiator sandals after venturing into a number of shops.
I also purchased a handmade straw hat, perfect for all of the time I’ll be spending at the beach after I move to Florida. Its a handmade panama style hat. The quality is impeccable and the style is timeless.
When you’re shopping for expensive, high quality items its important to make sure that everything is in good condition and actually “real.” I always make sure to give everything the once over to determine if the quality is as good as the store owner claims. It makes it even better when you can watch the person making similar goods.
