What To Pack For A Tropical Vacation

GlideSoul

I love to beach hop around the world. It’s perhaps one of my favorite things in the world. I’ve been able to visit a bunch of beaches all over the place. And because of that, I’ve learned what to pack for a tropical vacation. While I could give you a crazy long list of things, I’m going to stick with my necessities. Of course that includes some gorgeous bathing suits (I’m currently loving the super active vibes that GlideSoul is giving off).

What To Pack For A Tropical Vacation

The best part about a beach vacay is that you don’t need to overpack. You can usually get away with easy breezy dresses/cover ups. Throw in some fun and bright bathing suits, and a pair of sunnies and you’re good.

Bathing Suits Of Course!

Right now, my go to swimsuit is something bright, comfortable, and versatile. That’s why I love GlideSoul so much. They have an amazing collection of neoprene bathing suits and wetsuits made for the active girl. And while I’m not a huge water sport person (although I used to be a pretty bad ass water skier), I can’t get enough of the colorful, neon vibes that GlideSoul puts out. And the options are pretty much endless, guaranteeing that there is something for everyone: from the super sporty surfer girl, to the laid-back sunbather.

Choose from full and short wetsuits, spring suits, one pieces, bikinis, shorts, vests, and more. I always pack a one piece and a bikini so I have some options depending on the types of activities I take part in (I almost always wear a one piece if I’m going to be snorkeling or hanging on a boat to avoid sunburn).

A Great Pair Of Colorful Sunnies

I’m all about the reflective lenses. I have several pairs of sunnies that I take with me on my trips, but my favorite have to be my aviators. The blue lenses go perfectly with my bright bikini and one piece!

A Quick Drying Towel

If I know I’m not going to be staying at a hotel that provides me with towels, I always bring my microfiber towel. It dries quickly, allowing me to toss it into my bag without getting my things wet after a fun day on the beach. Plus, it adds a fun pop of  yellow to my look!

A Hat To Protect Myself From The Sun

Whether I’m rocking my favorite baseball cap or my favorite panama hat, I’m all about being prepared for those strong rays! A hat not only looks adorable, but it keeps your skin safe from the harmful rays.

Sunscreen, Of Course!

I always pack my own sunscreen with me when I’m traveling. And even though the place that you’re visiting will probably have sunscreen for sale, it always ends up costing way more. So if you’re checking a bag, then definitely toss a bottle of sunscreen in there. I use a sport version because it lasts longer.

Relax With A Good Book

I am super old school and still read from books. I try to always bring at least one with me while I’m traveling (because what’s better than relaxing on the beach with a good read). And if you finish your book before your trip is over, ask one of your newly made friends if they want to swap with you!

It’s nearly impossible to find educated people about this subject, however, you seem like you know what you’re talking about! Thanks
