I won’t ever deny the fact that I’m obsessed with Instagram. I love to post my travel photos for my followers to see. So, a lot of people ask me what Apps I use to edit my pictures before posting them.
I don’t like using Instagram to edit my photos and I never put a filter on my photos. Instead, I use Afterlight, which you can purchase from the App Store for $.99.
When I’m traveling I take photos of everything. I think the best way to get a good image is to constantly photograph the things around you – scenery, landscapes, people, food, EVERYTHING. The photos that come out the best are always the ones that are unexpected.
My GoPro is my best friend. I always use my camera (Olympus). And I don’t usually use my iPhone that often anymore.
At the end of the day, I like to go through all of my photos and I pick out my favorites to edit. I then use Afterlight to fix them up. I generally clarify, boost the saturation and play with the exposure. I like my photos to be colorful, but it also depends on the subject of the photos.
I find that I end up with a ton of great photos, so I like to put them in a folder to post later. This way I can look back on my travels months later!!
