TEACH HARD, TRAVEL FARTHER

teach english in thailand

As most of you know I once taught English in Thailand. It was a really crazy experience for me. I loved it and I hated it. The town I lived in, was incredible. The students I taught were amazing. But, I wasn’t the best teacher. Still being able to teach in Thailand was a huge opportunity for me.

Why You Should Teach In Thailand

Even though it seems like I was teaching English in Thailand a lifetime ago, people still ask me about it all of the time. And I can honestly say that despite the fact that I really didn’t enjoy the teaching part (I found it very stressful), everything else was amazing. And that includes the incredible 28 students I had in my Kindergarten class.

So, you may be wondering why you should teach in Thailand then… And my answer is quite simple: you will meet some of the kindest, most selfless people in the world. And you will see some of the most stunningly beautiful places in the entire world. Thailand is an incredibly magical place and it has so much to offer its visitors. From the food to the smiling people, to the mountainside, to the sea…Everything is wonderful there.

The Technical Stuff

So if you’re still reading and you’re wondering how to teach English in Thailand, I wrote a whole post about that.  But, if you don’t have time to read that, look into some programs like CIEE. They took care of everything for me. I just applied and then once accepted they placed me at a school (with two of my friends that I went with). They took care of my visa and all of that. It was so simple!

Remember, I’m just one person. Just because I didn’t love teaching, doesn’t mean you won’t. In fact, you may be like some of the people I met there who end up staying for years and years because you love it so much! Either way, you’ll end up with a fantastic experience and be helping people along the way.

Until then, here is a video of my amazing time teaching!

They book the travel for you and after that you are practically all alone. Say your flight gets scratched off, why should going book a substitution flight? You are, not them. bargain hotels
