Packing For 3 Weeks With An iFLY Carry-On

iFly Carry-On

I really like to think that I’m a good packer. Through the years I’ve definitely improved and learned to pack less. You may think you need something, but odds are you can get whatever you forget wherever you’re traveling to. As you all probably know by now, I usually travel with a travel backpack. But, it’s not always necessary. I knew that I wanted to have the option of using a carry on sized luggage on shorter trips. That’s where my iFLY carry-on comes in.

Packing is truly an art. And I wanted to challenge myself to pack 3-weeks worth of stuff for a cold weather destination into a carry on bag. I decided to try this out with the iFLY hard side Racer Carry-On bag. I will say that I did expand the bag and I will be checking it because I’m flying Southwest and I can check a bag for free! But, that’s not to say that I wasn’t able to fit everything into my iFLY carry-on…including my heavy winter coat.

I’m just super impressed with myself because I’m traveling for three weeks with an expanded carry on bag, a small backpack, and a purse!

iFLY Luggage

I would definitely recommend iFly luggage. They’re an inexpensive luggage company that believes that you should be spending money on travel, not on expensive luggage. The bags also come with a ten year warranty, which is something that I look for in a brand because I do a lot of travel.

iFLY Carry-On (Racer Hard Side)

This bag is fantastic! I’ve never had a hard luggage before and I am truly impressed by the amount of things I can fit in there. So, what did I pack?

  • Two pairs of shoes (sneakers and boots)
  • A large case of toiletries
  • A heavy winter coat
  • Three Eagle Creek Compression Cubes packed to the brim

Had I been using a softer luggage, there is no way I would have been able to fit all of that.

Thank you to iFly Luggage for sponsoring this post. As always, my opinions are my own.
