Neuschwanstein Castle

If you find yourself in the Bavarian countryside you must take a trip to Neuschwanstein Castle. The castle acted as inspiration for Walt Disney to create the Magic Kingdom. Besides that, a lot of people don’t know much about the gorgeous castle.

King Ludwig II of Bavaria ordered the building of the castle to begin in 1869. Richard Wagner, a popular composer, and his music inspired the castle’s design. And when you visit the castle you’ll see how heavily influenced the details are by the style of his music.

Plus, what’s very interesting about the castle is that it was never actually completed! Only 14 rooms out of 200 planned ones were finished.
